The two girls are both alluring, but one makes you focus while the other one becomes less tangible. Though the less tangible girl was more inviting, she has become less seductive and her details are obscured. There's a duality in her absence that the two girls are actually one in the same, and represent different avenues of allure. The ghost of a girl is, in a way, the manifestation of the imagined missing qualities of the other girl.
